Painting has been one of Lale Toğlukdemir's greatest passions for over twenty years. After completing her studies in restoration, she began painting and has since developed a body of work spanning oil, acrylic, watercolour, sketches and works on paper.
This selection brings together paintings, sketches and works on paper from Lale Toğlukdemir's personal archive. Created alongside her jewellery practice over the years, these works reflect the way she approaches form, colour, composition and detail.
For Lale, painting and jewellery are not separate disciplines, but two expressions of the same creative practice. The visual language she has developed on canvas continues to shape the world of Lalette, becoming one of the defining influences behind every collection.
